No doubt at the instigation of the Israeli government, the Obama administration authorized the United States Army Corps of Engineers to design a vertical underground wall under the border between Egypt and Gaza. This wall will be six to seven miles long and penetrate down to 55 feet, literally closing off the only lifeline that the people of Gaza have.
