June 26 ENDING THE SIEGE OF GAZA - A Fundraiser for the Free Gaza Movement. June 26, 6:30 pm at the home of Kay Bullitt, 1125 Harvard East, Seattle. - A light supper and refreshments will be served. “We’re an international, nonviolent resistance project to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza and its denial of Palestinian human rights. We intend to enter Gaza from international waters - at the invitation of the Palestinian people, and without seeking Israeli authorization - thereby establishing a route of entry and exit that is under Palestinian control and sovereignty” Paul Larudee. DR. BILL DIENST is a human rights activist and family & emergency physician from Omak, Washington. He has frequently volunteered to work with the Palestine Medical Society in Gaza and the West Bank. Dr. Dienst will present a slide show about Gaza and will discuss the forthcoming voyage in which he will participate as the ship’s doctor. Donations are requested to help provide the transport vessels and costs of the Free Gaza Movement voyage. March 19 & 20 Please join the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and the South Asian Middle Eastern Cultural Awareness Organization (SAMECAO) on the MillsCollege Campus to "End the Siege on Gaza." We will be hosting three days worth of events on Monday, March 17, Wednesday, March 19, and Thursday March 20, 2008. On Wednesday the 19th Professor Paul Larudee (FreeGaza Movement) will be speaking on how civilians can take their activism to the next level. This will be followed by a Q/A and dialogue session hosted their panel including Donna Wallach (ISM). This will take place at 12:15 pm in the Student Union. Jan 19 Athens, Greece: event "1948-2008: 60 years of refugees for the Palestinians". The Free Gaza initiative will be presented to the public in the event of the "Intifada" Solidarity Association to the Palestinian People and money will be raised for that purpose. Dec 20 Benefit night for Break the Siege - Free Gaza at the Trades Club, Hebden Bridge to raise money for the Freegaza campaign.
